Since taking office as President of the Polish Chess Federation (PZSzach) in 2018, Radosław Jedynak has overseen one of the most dramatic periods of growth in European chess, more than doubling registered player numbers and establishing one of the continent's largest school chess programmes.
A graduate in Political Sciences and a qualified chess arbiter and American football referee, he combines formal governance training with a disciplined, evidence-based approach to organizational development. World Rapid & Blitz Chess Championships — Warsaw (2021)
Principal organizer of the World Rapid and Blitz Chess Championships in Warsaw, one of the flagship events in the international chess calendar. The event attracted Magnus Carlsen and the world's elite players, requiring large-scale logistics, international coordination, sponsor management, and delivery to FIDE standards.
Women's World Team Chess Championship — Bydgoszcz (2023)
Organized the Women's World Team Chess Championship in Bydgoszcz, bringing together the world's leading national women's teams under FIDE auspices. Responsible for full event delivery including venue management, delegation coordination, arbiter logistics, and federation-level reporting.
Education through Chess in Schools (2018–Present)
Championed and scaled one of Europe's most ambitious school chess initiatives, reaching approximately 70,000 children annually across Poland. Over 5,000 teachers have been trained to deliver chess in schools under this programme, with around 300 new certifications issued each year.
